Panduka Tennakoon – Managing Director/ CEO

Panduka holds a Diploma in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India. He started his career in the Sri Lanka Air Force, and he was awarded Poornrbhoobi and Vadamaarachchi operational medals.

After retiring from the Air Force he embarked on a career in sales and marketing in fields such as material handling, construction machinery, material treatment and testing and storage logistic store management systems.

His track record in the private sector covers over fifteen years, and he has worked in prestigious companies such as DIMO, Browns and United Motors and also possesses high end management experience in the Middle East on lifting, construction, material handling and franchises.

He is also equipped with extensive experience in outbound management training.

D V Champaka B Paulis (Commander RtdSLN) – Director Engineering

Champaka holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering which was jointly awarded by the University of Moratuwa and the KothelawalaDefence Academy. In addition, he has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Project Management at the University of Moratuwa.

He has been involved in the design and development of 10 MW of Hydro power since 1999. His specialist areas are bridges construction, soil &other related tests, management of projects and Civil engineering consultation.

Also experienced in ship building, ship repair, ship thrust argument test and construction of docks and gates.

He is Managing Director of Neat Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.

Engineer P. D. Sarathchandra– Consultant

P.D.Sarathchandra obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Moratuwa in 1972and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering for Machine Design in 1979. He is also a Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka.

After acquiring wide experience as a result of being employed at several government organizations such as the Ceylon Government Railway, State Development & Construction Corporation, the Central Transport Board of Sri Lanka and Ceylon State Hardware Corporation for over twelve years, he decided to abandon his outstanding career in Engineering and focus on a career in the world of academe due to his desire to impart his extraordinary knowledge to the younger generation.

His first academic appointment was as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology in Malaysia where he worked for five years. Then he joined the Open University of Sri Lanka as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. At the Open University of Sri Lanka, he held the much respected position of the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering for over twelve years and also headed the Department of Agricultural & Plantation Engineering for over three years.

He was a member of the University Senate for over 17 years and also was a Director of the National On-line Distance Education Service of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Director of the Operational Technical Secretariat of the HETC-OUSL project. He is presently a member of the Academic Council of the University of Vocational Technology, and a member of the National Science Foundation’s National Committee on Robotics, Advanced Manufacture and Design.

Mechanical Engineer

Kumudu obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Open University of Sri Lanka and is also an associate Member of the Institution of Engineers Sri lanka. In addition, she has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Statistics at the University of Moratuwa.

After working as an executive responsible for marketing engineering services at a water management company, she joined with the Department of Mechanical Engineering of her alma mater, the Open University of Sri Lanka. Thereafter, she worked as a design engineer for a Storage Racking Company where she specialized in supplying total warehouse solutions and design steel structures.
